Our Story
Shree Saraswati Institute of Technology (SSIT), a dream of Hon. Shri Vasant Sawant, President of the Sindhudurg Education Society, grew out of the successful journey of educational institutions in metro cities since 1985. With the aim of starting technical education in rural and remote areas to uplift rural society, the Institute was established in 2015 in the green, naturally beautiful surroundings of Tondavali.
Shree Saraswati Institute of Technology stands as a beacon of technical education in the beautiful region of Sindhudurg.
The Institute has been committed to providing world-class engineering education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application.
The Institute is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
The Institute offers four diploma courses— Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering—with a sanctioned annual intake of 300 students.
